Neighbor Bakehouse has to be one of my top bakery experiences to date! The place is small and they have a few outdoor seats. It does get crowded in the mornings and they tend to sell out fast, so make sure you come here early to get a great selection. I wanted to try their strawberry matcha pastry but they sold out right in front of me, so I went with my second choice, the ube croissant. Man, I was NOT dissapointed. This was the best croissant and most unique croissant I've ever had. The croissant it'self was perfectly buttery and flakey. The inside was filled with a delicious and fluffy ube cream. My mouth is just drooling thinking about it. Trust me, Neighbor Bakehouse is a must if you're in SF!

A must visit for pastries in San Francisco. Spectacular baked goods, quite a variety of flavors, style of baked goods and breads. A friend and I stumbled upon Neighbor 7/8 yrs ago and immediately fell in love with their dense, flakey ginger pull apart and all the croissants. Over the years the options have increased, new flavors have been introduced but the quality of ingredients and deliciousness have continued!! After starting to eat gluten free, I have been pleasantly surprised with the gf baked goods. Although I would absolutely love to see a GF croissant on the menu in the future. I always recommend Neighbor Bakehouse to friends and family as a must try in SF and am thrilled I'm now walking distance.

Nice little bakery spot! I got the special Amelie and the potato curry Bourek! The special was super good with a raspberry filling and both of the pastries are so nicely flaky. Absolutely try the potato curry! I love a savory baked goods. We grabbed and go and the cashier was super nice.

During my previous visit, I ordered these items: +Earl Grey Tart -Banana Bostock -Ginger Pull Apart This time around, I noticed that there was a larger selection of items and a coffee window next door. This could be due to the fact that it was the morning and not the afternoon. I chose the Raspberry Rose Mochi Cake ($3.50 + 4% SF Health Mandate). +Tart, raspberry glaze -Couldn't taste the rose flavor -Cake wasn't as chewy as other mochi cakes I've tried There's some outdoor seating, but to-go may be the best option if it's gloomy or windy. *Verdict: I don't think I'd get this again, but I'd like to try the coffee and a savory option next time.
